The Ins and Outs of Flight and Rocketry

Updated: Dec 10, 2019

Flight and Rocketry is a design lab in which you build a rocket out of tape, cardboard, and paper and then launch it. This design lab is definitely fun but it does have its fair share of risks involved. From razor blades to explosive rockets to a history of injuries and accidents. Flight and Rocketry may be one of the most dangerous design labs at our school. Led by Mr. Vanderlinden one of the seventh grade science teachers, the purpose of the design lab is to focus on the physics of flight and applying it to rockets with brief lessons on the history of rockets. From the surface it may seem like an easy class but it quite complicated and interesting.
