Lukas Auditions for Aladdin

Lukas Velasco: Yes, I auditioned for Aladdin Jr. I auditioned because I want to have a life at school. I also wanted to be mean, like Jafar. Jafar was one of the roles I was very interested in. I loved my experience with drama the first semester, so I wanted to keep that family and experience. I feel happy, and powerful since I got a callback for Jafar. I also feel grateful that I got a callback since lots of people auditioned for the musical. I feel like I’m going to do ok at the callbacks, but I don’t want to be too confident. I feel like I have a pretty good chance of getting Jafar.
