Marina Tamura is an 8th grade student at VIDA. She enjoys reading, baking as well as ice skating. Ever since she was around the age of 7 she has enjoyed skating on the ice. Marina takes lessons at a skating rink in Carlsbad, California called Ice Town. She loves Ice skating so much because “it makes her feel nice”. Marina had taken part in a Girl Scouts event at the Ice rink. Ever since she has taken lessons, getting better and better each time. “My favorite part of ice skating is how much faster I can be on the Ice. I also love being able to do jumps and spins!” Marina works as hard as she can to perfect her technique, but her main goal is to become the best she can.
